The Independence Mission (2004). Producer, screenwriter, & director. A 50 min. narrative feature film in the Ilocano language dramatizing the mystical visions of salvation & liberation of a young peasant in Eastern Pangasinan at the height of widening agrarian unrests and American colonialism in the northern Philippines during the 1920’s. Produced by the Unibersidad de Manila.

Lakaran (The Pilgrim’s Journey) 2006. A 56 min.narrative feature film in the Tagalog language produced by the Unibersidad de Manila. Director, screenwriter, and producer.

A young man, an English teacher who is about to immigrate to the U.S. and a young woman, an emerging diasporic writer who had just returned to the country from abroad performs a ritual pilgrimage on the grounds of Mt. Banahaw, one of the most sacred mountains in the Philippines.

Anacbanua (The Child of the Sun) 2009. Producer, screenwriter, director, & editor. A feature-length experimental film about Pangasinan’s landscape, people, & culture produced by Sine Caboloan Co. Ltd. The film was shot entirely in the Pangasinan province and was cited as the first feature-length film in the Pangasinan language.
